Short answers about what Startup MIS is, who it is for, and how to get in.

What is Startup MIS?

Startup MIS is a management information system for startups that brings finance, document sharing and project management into one workspace. It has three modules: Finance, Docivo and Projects.

Who is Startup MIS for?

Startup MIS is for startup founders, CFOs and small teams, and for the accountants and advisors who support them, and for the directors and investors they report to. It suits anyone who wants the numbers, the documents and the work in one place.

Can our board use it?

Yes. Board members get their own access to what you share with them, from reports to data rooms.

What can I do with Startup MIS Finance?

Startup MIS Finance lets you compare budget vs actuals, plan scenarios, track runway and build board and investor reports. You can import your existing data from spreadsheets.

What is budget vs actuals?

Budget vs actuals compares what a company planned to earn and spend with what actually happened. Startup MIS Finance shows the two side by side so variances show up early.

What is Docivo?

Docivo is the document sharing and data room module of Startup MIS. It gives you tracked sharing links and data rooms (called Spaces) and shows who read which pages.

What is a data room?

A data room is a controlled place to share documents with investors, buyers or partners. In Startup MIS, Docivo Spaces work as data rooms with folders, roles and access rules.

Can I share a board pack and see who read it?

Yes. In Startup MIS you share a board pack through a Docivo link, and Docivo shows who opened it, which pages they read and when they came back.

What does Startup MIS Projects do?

Startup MIS Projects is project management for startups. It tracks tasks, sprints and milestones in List, Board, Timeline, Calendar and Gantt views.
